Foghat and Nazareth Unite for U.S. Tour

Foghat and Nazareth are joining forces for a new U.S. tour, bringing together two legendary names from the British blues rock and classic rock tradition. Both bands have spent decades shaping the sound of hard-rocking, guitar-driven music and continue to perform with the same energy and spirit that defined their earliest years.

Foghat was formed in 1971 when Lonesome Dave Peverett and Roger Earl left Savoy Brown. Built on a foundation of blues, boogie and straightforward rock and roll, the band quickly established itself as a major force on international stages. Over the years, Foghat earned multiple gold records and continued to evolve while staying true to their signature sound. Their 2023 album “Sonic Mojo” reached number one on the Billboard Blues Chart and remained in the Top 10 for an impressive 34 weeks, reinforcing their ongoing relevance in modern classic rock.

Nazareth, formed in 1968 in Dunfermline, Scotland, rose to global recognition during the 1970s with a powerful blend of grit and melody. Known for timeless songs such as “Love Hurts”, “Hair of the Dog” and “This Flight Tonight”, the band became a staple of rock radio worldwide. Their influence has stretched across generations of rock and metal artists, and they continue to tour extensively while delivering intense and emotional live performances.

Voices from the Band

Roger Earl of Foghat describes the collaboration with enthusiasm, saying, ‘Foghat and Nazareth! What a great show that’s going to be! Two rock and roll bands that have done lots of shows together over the years. We haven’t worked together for a while, but we plan on having a really good time! Both bands come from the same era of rock and roll, and still going strong after 50 or 60 years of being on the road is a fucking miracle! I’m really looking forward to it, and so should you! We just keep on rockin’! See you out there!’

Pete Agnew of Nazareth also reflects on the partnership, saying, ‘We’ve shared stages with a lot of great bands over the years, but teaming up with Foghat is something special. They’ve got that same raw, no-nonsense rock and roll spirit we’ve always believed in. Night after night, it’s going to be a celebration of the music that brought us all here loud, proud, and straight from the heart. Fans are in for one hell of a ride.’

A Shared Rock Legacy

Together, Foghat and Nazareth continue to represent the enduring power of classic rock performed live. Their shared history and mutual respect create a concert experience built on authenticity, energy and decades of musical craftsmanship.
