Ostrava Festival: A festival of music, art and culture

The Ostrava Festival is an international music and culture festival held every year in Ostrava, Czech Republic. The festival has a wide range of activities, including concerts, theatre performances, dance performances, exhibitions and workshops. The festival is therefore visited by more than 200,000 visitors every year. There is music every year in all styles of music, from Pop, Rock via Jazz to World Music and Punk.

This year the Ostrava Festival took place from 15 to 22 July. This year’s festival program once again featured a wide range of artists, from classical music to jazz, rock and world music. There were also a number of special events, such as an open-air opera performance and a fireworks display. Big names this year included: OneRepublic, Niall Horan, The Purple Disco Machine, Jacob Collier, Interpol, the Teskey Brothers, Gilberto Gil, Seun Kuti & Egypt80, Tramhaus, Macklemore, and so on.

The Ostrava Festival was also a unique event in 2023, offering a unique mix of music, art and culture. The festival is a must-see for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. No less than 19 stages and tents were spread across the festival grounds so that there was always something wild for everyone. And, the festival was completely cashless to visit!
