On June 10, George Ezra will release his new album “Gold Rush Kid”. Along with the album announcement, George Ezra announced that he will be giving three small-scale concerts in the UK in February and March, including one at Palladium in London. During those shows, the singer-songwriter will play a number of songs from his third album ‘Gold Rush Kid’. Today the first single and video of the album will be released: “Anyone For You”.

George wrote and produced “Gold Rush Kid” in London, with resident musician and songwriter Joel Pott. The album has twelve tracks that sound more like George than ever, he says. ‘That’s what ties them together. The “Gold Rush Kid”? That’s me.’

The first single “Anyone For You” came about when George was leafing through old notebooks with lyrics ideas. The song is about a girl who had just moved to town and to whom George gave his phone number: ‘”Hit me up, if you’re needing anyone, and then I can be anyone anyone anyone anyone anyone for you…” The song is joyous and infectious, and I can’t help but smile every time I sing it!’, said George.

Previously, George released the albums “Wanted On Voyage” (2014) and “Staying At Tamara’s” (2018), both of which were number one in the UK. In 2019, George performed at the Royal Albert Hall and gave two sold-out shows at the O2 Arena in London. His 2018 single “Shotgun” has now been streamed nearly 700 million times and earned George a Brit Award for Best British Male Solo Artist, while his breakthrough single “Budapest”, which is about the city he himself had never been before, alone has been viewed over 200 million times on Youtube.
