Today Nickelback announced its European tour called “Get Rollin’ Tour”. The tour bears the same name as their most recent, tenth studio album, “Get Rollin'”, which was released late last year. Following a successful tour of North America in 2023, the European tour will visit 12 cities in 8 countries, starting on Thursday, May 16 at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. The tour includes shows in the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. British indie rock band Lottery Winners will join Nickelback as a support act throughout the tour.

Nickelback is known worldwide for its career-defining and award-winning hits such as “How You Remind Me,” “Photograph,” “Far Away” and “Rockstar”. The four-piece band consisting of Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger and Daniel Adair is one of the most commercially successful and important acts of the past two decades. Their success includes worldwide sales of more than 50 million records, making the band one of the best-selling acts of all time and the second best-selling foreign act in the United States (after The Beatles). Their mega-hit “How You Remind Me” was the most-played song on American radio in the 2000s with more than 1.2 million plays.

Lottery Winners are the ‘underdog working-class story’ of the year. Their fifth studio album, “Anxiety Replacement Therapy,” was released on April 28, 2023, and debuted at No. 1 in the UK. It was the fifth best-selling album in the first week of the year, selling more copies in the UK than U2 and Miley Cyrus. The album has received critical acclaim worldwide and has touched people in a special way. The album addresses mental illness and ADHD in a biographical, chronological story of personal redemption. The band has previously had sparkling collaborations with greats such as Nickelback, Frank Turner, Sleeper and KT Tunstall, but with the latest album from Lottery Winners, the group raises the bar even higher, with names such as Shaun Ryder, Boy George and again Frank Turner appearing on the album can be heard. The band had a huge summer performing at festivals including Glastonbury and are currently on their biggest-ever UK tour, which ends at a sold-out Manchester Apollo next month.

Nickelback has received nine Grammy Award nominations, three American Music Awards, a World Music Award, a People’s Choice Award, twelve JUNO Awards, seven MuchMusic Video Awards, and has been inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. With more than 23 number-one hits and fans all over the world, Nickelback has more than twelve consecutive sold-out world tours to their name, performing in front of more than 10 million fans. The band concluded their 53-date North American “Get Rollin’ Tour” on October 5 and recently released the documentary “Hate To Love: Nickelback” at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.
