The American progressive metal band TOOL to Europe. The highly anticipated news of TOOL’s European tour follows a particularly busy time for the Los Angeles band, with the foursome of Danny Carey, Justin Chancellor, Adam Jones and Maynard James Keenan currently in the middle of a North American tour that lasts until February. Over the past five months, TOOL has headlined the Aftershock, Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life and Sonic Temple Arts & Music festivals, as well as a once-in-a-lifetime performance at Power Trip, which Metal Hammer described as “a mind-melting, triumphant showcase of just how singular their art is, a transcendental experience that surpasses genre boundaries.”
TOOL was founded in 1990 and released five studio albums: ‘Undertow’ (1993), ‘Ænima’ (1996), ‘Lateralus’ (2001), ‘10,000 Days’ (2006) and ‘Fear Inoculum’ (2019) as well as the EPs ‘72826’ (1991) and ‘Opiate’ (1992), and the limited-edition box set ‘Salival’ (2000). The band has won four GRAMMY Awards®: Best Metal Performance (1998, ‘Ænima’), Best Metal Performance (2002, ‘Schism’), Best Recording Package (2007, 10,000 Days) and Best Metal Performance (2020, ‘7empest’ ). TOOL consists of Danny Carey (drums), Justin Chancellor (bass), Adam Jones (guitar) and Maynard James Keenan (vocals). The band previously came to Europe in 2019 and 2022 and sold out their shows at a rapid pace.
