After four years Lucius returns to Europe. The four-piece indie pop band, consisting of singers Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, drummer and producer Dan Molad and lead guitarist Peter Lalish. Josh Dion (drums) and Casey Foubert (guitar) join the band for live performances. The band has already released three studio albums: “Wildewoman” (2013), “Good Grief” (2016) and “Nudes” (2018).

With the iron still sweltering from the hit single “I Don’t Live Here Anymore” that Lucius made with The War On Drugs, the indie pop band also announced their highly anticipated new album “Second Nature” this week, which will be released on April 8 via Second Nature Records. /Secretly Distribution (rest of the world). The album, produced by Dave Cobb and Brandi Carlile, features ten new tracks, including lead single “Next To Normal,” which is out now.

“Second Nature” is a portrait of singer and songwriters Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe’s shared reflection on seismic life changes – motherhood, divorce, unplanned career breaks – This album is an open book of that reflection, set to music.

The Brooklyn-based band will return in September 2022 for a tour in Europe. During the shows Lucius will also play songs from the new album ‘Second Nature’. ‘Second Nature’ combines funk and disco with 80’s new wave; it continues Abba’s unabashed dancefloor devotion to Kate Bush’s cerebral art-pop and Robyn’s vivacious vulnerability, all without sacrificing Lucius’ own style.
