The Script Announce Greatest Hits Tour

THE SCRIPT

The Script is announcing their Greatest Hits Tour for 2022. The tour is dedicated to their Greatest Hits Tour and the new album “Tales From The Script”, which will be released in October. With the release of their Greatest Hits album “Tales From The Script”, The Script are celebrating their all-encompassing career that includes five number 1 albums in the UK, six billion streams and over two million tickets sold to their concerts.

The European tour kicks off in February with a series of intimate club shows and from May onwards the band will tour the larger arena concert halls across the UK and Europe. It’s their first live shows in over two years. The tour includes a concert at the O2 in London and will conclude with two performances in their home country of Ireland at the 3Arena in Dublin. The Script will be joined by special guest Ella Henderson for the final leg of the tour.

“Tales From The Script” is a compilation album containing their greatest hits and the most popular songs from the past six albums including the number 1 hit “Hall of Fame” (with Will.i.am) and the Top 10 hits “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved”, “For The First Time” and “Superheroes”. In addition, the album features special recordings from their live shows, including “Breakeven”, their debut single “We Cry” and “Rain”.

The record is an ode to everything the trio, Danny O’Donoghue, Glen Power and Mark Sheehan, have achieved together since their formation fourteen years ago. It also includes a brand new track “I Want It All,” which Sheehan says has ‘all the ingredients everyone knows and everyone loves,’ and the hugely popular “Acoustic Sessions” version of “Never Seen Anything ‘Quite Like You”. ‘The “Tales From The Script” album is a springboard to our next chapter, but it’s also our story so far,’ says O’Donoghue.

‘We’re so excited to be taking it on the road. I know I’m gonna lose it on stage, night after night,’ adds Power, ‘We’re taking all the best songs and playing them all together in one place. It will turn it into a celebration that we’ve survived and we’ve all got through to this moment together.’
