Sabaton Announce “The Legendary Tour Part 2” Across Europe for 2027

Since their formation in Falun, Sweden, in 1999, Sabaton have grown into one of the biggest names in modern heavy metal. Renowned for transforming historical events and legendary figures into powerful songs filled with crushing riffs, soaring choruses and spectacular live performances, the band has built a loyal global following over the past quarter century.

Following the release of their debut album Primo Victoria in 2005, Sabaton embarked on an impressive international career. Since then, the band has released eleven studio albums, including Carolus Rex, Heroes, The Last Stand, The Great War, The War To End All Wars and their latest album, Legends (2025).

With Legends, Sabaton explored stories from even further back in history than ever before, marking a new creative chapter while remaining true to the historical themes that have defined the band’s identity.

In March 2026, Sabaton surprised fans with the release of the standalone single “Yamato”, accompanied by an impressive music video created in collaboration with World of Warships.

Throughout their career, Sabaton have earned a reputation as one of heavy metal’s premier live acts. The band has performed sold out shows around the world and completed extensive tours across Europe, North and South America, Australia and New Zealand. They also host their own successful events, including Sabaton Open Air and the Sabaton Cruise, which have become annual highlights for thousands of fans.

At the end of 2025, Sabaton concluded the highly successful The Legendary Tour across Europe, featuring the Legendary Orchestra as a special guest. The momentum continued into early 2026 with a major North American tour consisting of more than thirty concerts throughout the United States and Canada.

The band’s activities extend well beyond music. In 2019, Sabaton launched the Sabaton History Channel on YouTube, combining their passion for heavy metal with their fascination for military history. Their educational approach received international recognition in 2023, when they became the first rock band ever to receive the prestigious Enlightener of the Year Award from the Swedish Skeptics Association. That same year, Sabaton also introduced the global museum initiative History Rocks, bringing together more than 140 museums worldwide.

In October 2024, the concert film Sabaton – The Tour To End All Tours celebrated its worldwide cinema premiere. Recorded at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, the production was screened in more than 1,200 cinemas across 28 countries, underlining the band’s worldwide popularity.

More than 25 years after its formation, Sabaton continues to reach new milestones. Multiple Gold and Platinum awards, billions of streams and one of the most dedicated fan communities in metal have firmly established the Swedish band among the genre’s elite.

Following the overwhelming success of The Legendary Tour, Sabaton will return to European arenas in 2027 with The Legendary Tour – Part 2. Once again, the Legendary Orchestra will join the band as a special guest, promising another spectacular production that combines symphonic arrangements with Sabaton’s unmistakable heavy metal sound.
