On Tuesday, May 6, Silverstein returned to Rochester, NY, USA, to celebrate their ’25 Years of Noise’ tour, featuring Grayhaven, Broadside, and Real Friends. Fans got to be up close and personal at The Water Street Music Hall, as frontmen crossed barricades to sing, and fans crowd-surfed into the pit for a closer glimpse of their favourite artists.

The Canadian emo band Silverstein played in reverse chronological order, starting with their newest hits and ending with their earliest music. The crowd moshed throughout the night, cried during emotional songs, and paused to reminisce about simpler times from their youth.

Confessional music floated through hazy beams of light, stage platforms, and large LED screens. Between sets, the crowd could be heard screaming with joy and sharing commentary as the band’s home videos played. During the show, the screens enhanced the production as a dynamic backdrop, featuring graphics and live-streams of the audience and band.

The year 2025 is shaping up to be a milestone in the book of Silverstein. The chapter may be titled ‘The Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Tour’, but the hero’s journey includes two new album releases. Silverstein released ‘Anti Bloom’ back in February, and ‘Pink Moon’ is scheduled for release on September 12.
