The globally recognised artist and industry disruptor, Yungblud, announced a world tour. Following recent news of his forthcoming album, “Idols”, the 27-year-old from Doncaster revealed he will set out on a mammoth series of concerts in Europe and North America, starting in Los Angeles on the 23rd August.

Yungblud will visit cities including San Diego, Washington, New York, and Toronto. The tour, running throughout September and October, will also stop in European cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, and Berlin. On the North American leg, Arkansas singer-songwriter Sawyer Hill will provide support, while Las Vegas band Palaye Royale will join for the European shows, excluding Zurich and Vienna.

The announcement also highlighted Bludfest, which returns for its second year on 21st June at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes – as the artist’s only UK date of the year. This year’s festival will see performances by Australian R&B sensation Chase Atlantic, two-time Brit nominee Rachel Chinouriri and Florida rapper Denzel Curry.

Yungblud also announced the first part of his forthcoming double album, “Idols”. The 12-track offering will be made available across many formats. The making of “Idols” saw the artist decamp to a studio in Leeds, a few miles from where he grew up, to avoid external influence and distraction. Yungblud said, ‘I wanted to make a project that didn’t focus on singles or anything else except feeling and world-building… A project with no limitations.’
