GRLwood Announces Tour to Support New Album “BLOOD”

Louisville rock band GRLwood is hitting the road to support their newly released album “BLOOD,” the first instalment in a trilogy of albums set to drop this year. Following the release of “BLOOD,” the band will unveil “SWEAT” and “TEARS” later in the year. Every song on “BLOOD” was crafted by GRLwood’s founder, Rej Forester—a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist—and recorded in the unique setting of her bathroom closet home studio.

“BLOOD” emerges from deep emotional struggles, capturing the raw intensity of navigating difficult times. The album dives into themes such as the anxiety of financial instability, the pain of betrayal and abuse, and the journey of healing from wounds inflicted by others. Though much of the album delivers the signature ferocity expected from GRLwood, tracks like “Overwhelmed” and “Burn it Twice” showcase more ethereal, contemplative soundscapes.
