The Eagles Announce UK Tour

The Eagles, consisting of Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, are coming to the UK. On this 50th anniversary tour, they will play classics from their entire career such as ‘Hotel California’, ‘One of These Nights’, ‘Life in the Fast Lane’, ‘Desperado’ and many more.

Even in today’s diverse musical landscape, the Eagles maintain an appeal that transcends generations as well as genres. As the best-selling American band of the 1970s and one of the best-selling acts of all time, the band sold more than 200 million albums worldwide, including six No. 1 albums, and topped the singles charts five times. The Eagles have won six Grammy Awards, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, and received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2016. Their album ‘Their Greatest Hits 1971-1977’ was declared the best-selling album ever (38x platinum); the album ‘Hotel California’ (26x platinum) is in third place.

The concert in Arnhem marks the start of the tour, which then visits Liverpool, Edinburgh and Dublin to conclude on June 26 in London. At all shows except the last one, the band is joined by special guests Little Big Town. The multi-award winning band has been nominated more than 45 times for prestigious awards, winning 20 of them, including Grammy, AMA, People’s Choice, CMA, ACM Awards and an Emmy award. Their most recent studio album, the critically acclaimed ‘Nightfall’, brought their total worldwide streams to a whopping 2.3 billion.
