Roundhay Festival adds Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah and Lil Jon to Pitbull line-up

Roundhay Festival in the UK has expanded its 2026 debut programme, announcing that Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah and Lil Jon will join Pitbull on the opening night of the event. The show is positioned as a large-scale summer celebration in Leeds, bringing together international pop, hip-hop and club culture on a shared bill.

Pitbull, known globally as a GRAMMY Award-winning artist and entrepreneur, has sold more than 25 million studio albums and attracts over 60 million monthly listeners on streaming platforms. He has collaborated with artists including Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and Usher, building a catalogue of global hits such as “Don’t Stop the Party”, “Timber”, “Hotel Room Service”, “Time of Our Lives”, “Give Me Everything”, “Fireball” and “Get On The Floor”. His signature sound and high-energy performances have made him one of the most recognisable figures in modern pop and hip hop. His career also extends beyond music into business and education initiatives, reinforcing his global influence.

Global pop and rap heavyweights

Jason Derulo joins the line-up as one of the most-streamed and widely followed pop artists in the world, with a social media reach of nearly 250 million followers. He describes himself as the ‘Kid from a Haitian family in Miami’, and has built a career on global hits including “Talk Dirty [feat. 2 Chainz]”, “Wiggle”, “Swalla” and “Savage Love”, the latter reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping charts in multiple countries. His recent work includes the single “Sexy For Me” and the album “The Last Dance (Part 1)”, alongside a global touring schedule.

Tinie Tempah brings UK rap history and cultural influence to the festival. Since his breakthrough with “Pass Out”, he has achieved seven number one singles and multiple top ten albums. His continued evolution as an artist is reflected in recent releases such as “Eat It Up” and “Living Life”, which reinforce his reputation for long-term relevance and reinvention within British music culture.

Lil Jon completes the trio of additions, bringing his signature crunk sound and decades of club anthems. Emerging from Atlanta’s hip hop scene with Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz, he became known for tracks like “Get Low” and for production work on hits including Usher’s “Yeah!” and “Snap Yo Fingers”. His global impact expanded further with “Turn Down for What” alongside DJ Snake, cementing his reputation as a high-energy live performer.

With Pitbull in the lead and a supporting cast spanning pop, rap and club music, the event is being positioned as a major summer highlight in Leeds’ cultural calendar. Further acts are expected to be announced as the programme develops.

The festival will take place at Roundhay Park in Leeds, UK, on Friday 3 July 2026.
