Bob Dylan Drops Bombshell: 24 European Shows This Autumn

The legendary songwriter and musician Bob Dylan is set to return to Europe in 2025 for an extensive tour that will see him perform across multiple countries as part of his acclaimed ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways World Wide Tour’. This latest chapter in an unparalleled career spanning over six decades promises to deliver the intimate and powerful performances that have made Dylan one of the most revered live artists of our time.

The European leg begins in Finland before moving through Scandinavia, with stops in Stockholm and Copenhagen. Dylan will then perform three consecutive nights in Brussels at the prestigious BOZAR venue, followed by two shows in Paris at the Palais des Congrès. The Netherlands will welcome the Nobel Prize winner for two nights at Amsterdam’s AFAS Live, before the tour moves to the UK and Ireland.

Dylan’s relationship with British audiences spans over six decades, dating back to his first UK performance at The King & Queen pub in Fitzrovia, London, in 1962. His first Irish appearance came at the Adelphi Cinema during his famous 1966 world tour, a period that marked his controversial transition from acoustic folk to electric rock. Since then, he has maintained a deep connection with European audiences, regularly returning to perform in venues ranging from intimate theatres to grand arenas.

The 2020 release of ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways’ surprised and delighted fans worldwide, marking Dylan’s first album of original songs since ‘Tempest’ in 2012. The album dominated end-of-year lists and demonstrated that at 83, Dylan continues to push creative boundaries while drawing from his vast well of experience and wisdom. Critics praised the album’s blend of Americana, folk, and blues, with many considering it among his finest late-career works.

These upcoming concerts offer audiences the opportunity to experience this great artist performing material from across his extraordinary catalogue. Dylan’s Never Ending Tour, which began in 1988, has seen him perform approximately 100 concerts annually, making him one of the most tour-active artists in music history. Each performance is unique, with Dylan drawing from his extensive songbook that spans from his early folk period to his latest compositions.

The shows are presented in partnership with Yondr, which prohibits the use of video cameras and mobile phones during performances. This policy creates a more intimate and focused atmosphere, allowing both the artist and audience to be fully present in the moment without digital distractions. It’s an approach Dylan has embraced for many of his recent concerts, enhancing the spiritual and transcendent quality of his live performances.

Bob Dylan European Tour 2025 dates include Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Brighton, Swansea, Coventry, Leeds, Glasgow, Belfast, Killarney, and Dublin from October through November 2025.
