Iron Maiden Announces European Tour for 50th Anniversary

Legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden has announced their highly anticipated “Run For Your Lives World Tour” in celebration of their 50th anniversary. The European leg of the tour kicks off on May 27, 2025, in Budapest and will include 27 stadium, festival, and arena shows across Europe. Fans can expect a unique setlist featuring songs from the band’s first nine studio albums, from “Iron Maiden” to “Fear of the Dark,” marking a special tribute to their five decades in the music industry.

A Spectacular 50th Anniversary Celebration

Formed in late 1975 by Steve Harris, Iron Maiden is marking its 50-year milestone with a tour that promises to be their most impressive yet. With a career spanning five decades, over 100 million albums sold, and close to 2,500 shows performed in 64 countries, the band is pulling out all the stops for this monumental tour.

Bruce Dickinson, the band’s iconic lead singer, shared his excitement:
“Next year is a very special one for Iron Maiden, and we’re going to be giving our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience. This is a tour that’s gonna put a smile on your face and a cheer in your throat. If you’ve seen us before, then get ready to take that experience to a whole new level. If you’ve never seen us before, then what the hell have you been waiting for? Now’s your chance to find out what you’ve been missing! Iron Maiden’s definitely gonna get ya!”

A Special Setlist for Fans

The setlist for the “Run For Your Lives World Tour” will highlight classic hits and fan favourites from Iron Maiden’s first nine albums, offering a nostalgic experience for long-time fans. Manager Rod Smallwood hinted at the significance of the tour, saying:
“50 years of Maiden, and I have seen 46 of them! We will cover classics and fan favourites from the first nine albums, many of which we haven’t played in years and many we will likely never play again in the future.”

A Tour Like No Other

Iron Maiden is known for delivering high-energy performances, but this tour is set to raise the bar even higher. With months of preparation already underway, the band has been working hard to ensure that this will be their most elaborate and immersive show to date. Rod Smallwood added:
“We have been hard at work putting together an even more spectacular and elaborate new show which will bring the songs to life more than we have ever been able to do before. This is going to be a huge couple of years for Iron Maiden, and Eddie, of course, and we are very excited about what we have up our sleeves for you fans throughout the whole of our 50th year. I promise you are all going to be very happy indeed!”

The “Run For Your Lives World Tour” is shaping up to be a monumental event, and fans across Europe are eager to witness Iron Maiden’s epic anniversary celebration.
