Tickets for the show, this Tuesday, sold out within minutes, a testament to the growing influence of the Nigerian singer-songwriter. Fans gathered to witness an energetic, soul-filled performance, and Tems did not disappoint, captivating the audience for over an hour with songs from her debut album, “Born in the Wild.”

From the time the dimming lights started, the platform was now all set for some magical moments. The grassland ambience looks, accompanied by the warm and bright lights, took the audience to another world, a part of the natural themes that permeated her musical work. The smooth and velvety voice of Tems played throughout the room as if it were a musical instrument, thus, creating peace and harmony among us at the same time. In songs like “Burning” and “Love Me Jeje” the lively beats bopped the crowd through the dance floor, and consequently, they found themselves absorbed by her music.

The show commenced with “Mr. Rebel,” a song that proclaimed her first step as a musician. The put-on spectacle of them singing the song along with her testified directly to the deep-seated effects her art has on them. However, it was beyond being only a gig; it was a celebration of her development and success. Taking the reins with the production of her early materials and boosting her star power with births from Beyoncé, Rihanna, Drake, and Future have turned Tems into a unique character in the industry.

The night’s most unlikely and heart-to-heart encounter occurred as Tems mingled with the crowd. She was jamming around her unforgettable wits and addressing her fans with a lot of individual space to bring about a moment of pure connection and an abrupt genre change from mixed to pure. This was to underscore her versatility and uncanny knack for converting a large sell-out venue into something intimate and warm.

By the time the concert was wrapping up, it was obvious that Tems had not only delivered a performance but instead a travel plan going places, each of her songs and her passionate bonding with her fans left all the audience awestruck; out of her “Born in the Wild” tour, one may easily leap to the conclusion that Tems is not only the brightest star in the sky but also power with whom to be reckoned-a musical personality whose voyage is in its infancy.
