Billie Eilish, David Guetta, Florence + The Machine, Imagine Dragons and more to Sziget 2023
The long-awaited first artists for the Hungarian Sziget Festival have been announced. Billie Eilish, YUNGBLUD, Sam Fender, Florence + The Machine, Niall Horan, Foals, Jamie xx, David Guetta, M83, Moderat, Nothing But Thieves, Imagine Dragons and Sven Väth, among others, are coming to The Island Of Freedom in Budapest. The Dutch band Jungle by Night also features on the bill.
The organization has moved the dates of the festival by one day. To ensure that all these acts could come to Sziget, the new dates of Sziget are 10 to 15 August 2023.
American superstar Billie Eilish will travel to the Hungarian festival island for the first time. Another American headliner is the pop-rock band Imagine Dragons, known for bombastic anthems like ‘Thunder’ and ‘Believer’. In addition to dance producer David Guetta, Florence is also coming to Budapest with her Machine. These are the first four headliners for the six-day festival.
Also Sam Fender, Foals, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Amyl and the Sniffers, Nothing But Thieves, YUNGBLUD and Viagra Boys are coming to Sziget next year. In addition, there is also a lot of electronic music, from Jamie xx, Moderat, Sven Väth and Partiboi69, among others. The French band M83 returns to the stage after a long break and the Dutch band Jungle By Night is also coming to Hungary. The group from Amsterdam brings a mix of funk, jazz, pop and rock to The Island Of Freedom.
Sziget Festival takes place on a giant island in the heart of Budapest in Hungary. With these first names, Sziget once again shows its musical diversity. The Island Of Freedom has a lot more to offer besides a huge musical offer. An extensive fringe program with theatre, dance, circus, cabaret, film, art and sports will be put together in the coming months for the more than 450,000 visitors from more than 100 countries.
