Darkness Falls to release new single
Darkness Falls are now finally unveiling their new single ‘Hazy’ after a longer period of silence – a fresh uptempo song that spreads a mysterious, yet catchy vibe over a propelling beat. The single is accompanied by a video produced by the creative duo Kamilla Bruus and Sara Nina Laub who are catching up on the mysterious and dusty atmosphere of the song. The video got internationally premiered last week.
Darkness Falls are a danish rock duo formed in 2009, consisting of Josephine Philip, vocals and keyboard, and Ina Lindgreen on bass & guitar. Darkness Falls create a dramatic atmospheric sound combining distorted twang guitars, haunting synths, gritty drums and striking vocals. Pop allure turns into noise only to revert back into harmony. Enticing lyrics collide with a drone like base, romance crashes into reality and hope and regret are equal on the scale.
The band about the video: “We follow the character played by Josephine´s dad arriving at a location with the two of us as his chaperones, and you can feel that something is about to happen. It was important for us to keep a mysterious vibe in the video but at the same time keep the vibe real.”
