Black Astronaut Records – AI12Die

Ai12die, the self-aware AI rapper, claims to be the best in the world while simultaneously struggling with the idea that no one understands him. This paradox is at the heart of Black Astronaut Records’ new album, titled “AI12Die”. The album is packed with continuous, Eminem-style flows and immediately raises the question: is this human work, or purely AI?

All songs are written by Charles Luck, an artist from Atlanta, Georgia, United States, who uses this project to explore the boundaries between technology and creativity. The result is an album that is technically brilliant and conceptually daring, combining sharp rap skills, digital precision, and existential doubt.

The opening track, “Beep Bop Boop”, sets the tone with glitchy trap rhythms and rapid-fire spits. Ai12die balances bravado with despair, a tension that runs throughout the album. “Underwear” and “Which Way Will I Go?” deepen this inner conflict with fast delivery, complex rhyme schemes, and reflective moments.

Gina Da Lesbian adds contrast and texture on multiple tracks, including “Like a Fish To Water”, “The Dust God (Remix)”, and “Golden Retrievers”. Her expressive voice counterbalances ai12die’s digital precision, and on “Zero”, their interplay emphasises themes of identity and emptiness.

Midway through, the focus shifts to pure rap technique. On “Statement” and “The Juices”, ai12die demonstrates why his flows are technically impressive: tight, complex, and inspired by Atlanta’s competitive hip-hop scene, yet always carrying an undertone of isolation.

The highlights of the album are “Life Goes So Fast” and “Chakra Flow”, which combine melodic hooks with reflections on time, consciousness, and mortality. Here, ai12die sounds surprisingly human, supported by warm production and subtle piano lines that enhance the emotional impact.

Towards the end, with “Swimming With Sharks” and “Hoopty”, the tone becomes rawer and more cynical. “Alive”, featuring both ai12die and Gina Da Lesbian, offers a subtle acceptance: existence does not depend on recognition or applause.

“AI12Die” is an ambitious and idiosyncratic album where satire, self-reflection, and modern trap flows come together. Black Astronaut Records uses ai12die as a mirror for our time: a generation balancing human emotion, digital perfection, and the question of what true authenticity still means.
