NE-YO & AKON announce „Nights Like This“ 2026 Tour
In 2026, NE-YO and AKON will join forces for the “Nights Like This“ world tour, sharing the stage in a continuous, back-and-forth performance that combines their biggest hits, club anthems, and R&B classics. The tour spans Europe, the UK, the US, and Canada, offering fans a chance to experience two decades of chart-topping music in a dynamic live setting.
NE-YO, a three-time Grammy winner, singer-songwriter, actor, and philanthropist, rose to global fame with his 2005 debut single “So Sick“, certified quadruple platinum. He has since released numerous hits, including “Closer“, “Miss Independent“, “Time of Our Lives“ and “Because of You“, while also writing for artists such as Rihanna, Beyoncé, Usher, and Celine Dion. In 2026, he celebrates the 20th anniversary of his debut album “In My Own Words“ and is preparing a country-influenced project recorded in Nashville, blending his signature R&B sound with emotional melodies.
AKON, a Senegalese-American multi-platinum artist, has left an indelible mark on R&B, pop, and EDM. Founder of labels that launched careers of artists like Lady Gaga and T-Pain, he has sold over 35 million albums and collaborated with icons such as Michael Jackson, Eminem, and Gwen Stefani. His philanthropic work includes TheKonfidence Foundation supporting disadvantaged children, and initiatives bringing electricity to millions of African households.
The EU/UK leg of the tour begins on April 24 in Dublin, travelling through London, Manchester, Birmingham, Paris, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Zurich, Cologne, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Prague, Berlin, Vienna, and Lodz. The North American leg runs from June 17 in Vancouver through major cities including Montreal, Toronto, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, Houston, Las Vegas, and Inglewood, concluding on August 21. Each show is designed as a seamless journey through their iconic catalogues, creating a live experience where hits blend in a continuous celebration of music, energy, and nostalgia.
