Nailbomb returns to Europe

Nailbomb

After years of dormancy, the explosive activist collective Nailbomb is breaking out of the vault once more, bringing their uncompromising sonic warfare to European stages this August. The bastard child of Max Cavalera and Alex Newport, Nailbomb remains a ballistic artillery of sound that has lost none of its relevance three decades after its inception.

Born from chaos and creativity in a bedroom studio in 1992-1993, what began as a playful side project between two musical mavericks evolved into one of punk’s most visceral hate albums. The raw energy captured in those early sessions—complete with washing machine percussion and tire-burning intensity—led to a deal with Roadrunner Records and legendary festival appearances that cemented Nailbomb’s place in extreme music history.

The current political climate mirrors the frustration that birthed the project in the early ’90s. Wealth inequality, political corruption, and global unrest have once again awakened the beast. This 2025 resurrection sees Max Cavalera leading a devastating lineup through Europe’s premier festival circuit, delivering the unfiltered rage that made Nailbomb essential listening for anyone questioning the status quo.

From the legendary Wacken Open Air to the intimate club stages of Vienna, this tour promises to be a cathartic release for both band and audience. Thirty years of pent-up aggression channelled through blistering performances across 16 dates spanning 11 countries—this is Nailbomb at its most vital.
