Colours of Ostrava 2025 has announced exciting new additions to its lineup, joining headliners like The Chainsmokers, Iggy Pop, and Justice. One of the most anticipated acts is Sting, who will perform for the first time at the festival’s iconic industrial venue, Dolní Vítkovice. Adding to the thrill, his longtime collaborator Shaggy will make his solo debut in the Czech Republic. Snow Patrol will also perform in the country for the first time, bringing their timeless hit ‘Chasing Cars’ to the stage. Electro-pop duo Sofi Tukker will round out the global star power, showcasing their latest album, released this summer.

Colours of Ostrava will take place from July 16 to 19. Various ticket options, including new VIP+ and Fresh categories, will be available. Single-day tickets go on sale at discounted rates on December 5.

A Genre-Spanning Musical Experience

The 22nd edition of Colours of Ostrava promises an eclectic blend of reggae, indie rock, and electro-pop. Sting’s return is significant to Czech fans, and this time, he’ll be joined by Shaggy, with whom he collaborated on the Grammy-winning album “44/876“. While the duo has performed together in the Czech Republic before, Shaggy’s solo set will be a first. With his classics like “Angel” and “It Wasn’t Me” celebrating major anniversaries in 2025, fans may also be treated to a surprise on-stage collaboration with Sting.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Sting to Colours of Ostrava finally,” says Zlata Holušová, the festival’s Artistic Director. “He’s a fascinating figure who constantly experiments with different genres. Having Shaggy perform on the same day makes it even more special, and who knows, they might surprise us with a live duet!”

First-Time Visitors and Familiar Favorites

Snow Patrol will make their Czech debut, performing hits like “Run”, “Chocolate”, and the beloved “Chasing Cars”. Known as the most-played song of the 21st century on British radio, “Chasing Cars” is sure to resonate deeply with the audience. Lead singer Gary Lightbody and the band will present their latest album, “The Forest Is the Path”, which has been described by The Telegraph as “warm and comforting, a collection of songs that invite repeated listening.”

Sofi Tukker, known for their infectious, genre-defying sound influenced by global rhythms, will also be returning to the stage after cancelling their summer tour due to health issues. Israeli sensation Noga Erez will bring fresh energy with her new album “The Vandalist”, a project she describes as “emotional, raw, and unexpectedly humorous.”

More Names, More Variety

November’s lineup announcements included acts like James Smith, Kalush Orchestra, Loverman, and Shiran & Bakal, ensuring something for every type of music fan. The Fresh ticket category caters to younger festival-goers aged 15 to 21, while VIP+ passes offer premium experiences, including preloaded chips for exclusive food and drink access.

Single-day tickets will be available starting December 5. Full daily schedules have been released, with Sting and Shaggy headlining on July 16, Iggy Pop and Justice on July 17, Snow Patrol on July 18, and The Chainsmokers closing the festival on July 19.

Colours of Ostrava 2025 promise to be an unforgettable celebration of music, culture, and community.
