The evening started with an energetic opening set by rising star Eem Triplin, who warmed up the crowd for what was to come. However, it was clear that the audience was there for the main act. When Tiller took the stage, his dedicated fans greeted him with thunderous applause.

During his 50-minute set, Tiller primarily focused on his classics from the albums “TRAPSOUL”, “Anniversary”, and “True to Self”. Songs like “Don’t” and “Exchange”, both now Triple Platinum certified, had the enthusiastic crowd singing along to every word. The intimate setting of the MGM National Harbor proved perfect for Tiller’s soulful vocals and personal performance style.

The emotional highlight of the evening came near the end of the show when Tiller invited his daughter Haley to join him on stage for a touching rendition of “Right My Wrongs”. This father-daughter moment revealed a different side of the artist and created a truly memorable experience.

Tiller delivered an energetic version of “Whatever She Wants” for the encore, concluding the short but impactful show. While fans might have hoped for a longer set, Tiller proved why he remains one of modern R&B’s most respected names, with over 2.1 billion streams and numerous accolades, including BET Awards for Best New Artist and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist.

The performance, though brief, demonstrated why Tiller’s star has continued to rise since his 2015 debut album “TRAPSOUL”. His ability to create an intimate atmosphere in a venue as grand as the MGM National Harbor speaks to his growth as a performer and his deep connection with his audience.
