Global superstar Shania Twain is making her BST Hyde Park debut on Sunday 7 July 2024! Shania Twain, born Eilleen Regina Edwards on August 28, 1965, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, is a highly acclaimed Canadian singer and songwriter who rose to international fame in the 1990s. Her remarkable journey from a difficult childhood to becoming one of the best-selling female artists in country music history is both inspiring and influential.
Twain’s childhood was marked by hardship and poverty. Her parents struggled financially, and she often had to help raise her younger siblings. Tragically, her parents died in a car accident when she was just 21, leaving her to care for her family.
