Meat Loaf passed away

It has just been announced that American singer Meat Loaf passed away on Thursday evening (American time) with his wife Deborah by his side. Daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends have been with him for the past 24 hours. Meat Loaf was born in Dallas on September 27, 1947, and is best known for his 1978 hit “Paradise by the Dashboard Light.”

His career spanned 6 decades during which he sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and starred in more than 65 films, including ‘Fight Club’, ‘Focus’, ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ and ‘Wayne’s World’. ‘Bat Out of Hell’ remains one of the 10 best-selling albums of all time and his ‘Paradise by the Dashboard life’ is a legendary song that will be played until the end of time.

Meat Loaf turned 74 years old.
