Ella Henderson releases single ‘Brave’ as precursor to new album

British singer-songwriter Ella Henderson has released her new single “Brave”. The song will be found on her second studio album “Everything I Didn’t Say”, which will be released on March 11. It’s a powerful song about breaking the stigma surrounding asking for help and accepting someone’s support. The song was written by Ella, along with Jennifer Decilveo (Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, MARINA) and producer Jordan Riley (Mabel, RAY BLK, Sigrid).

Ella Henderson made the final of the British TV show X Factor in 2012, where she was hailed as one of the most talented singers ever on the program by big names such as Adele, Lily Allen, Cher and Simon Cowell. Her debut single “Ghost” immediately reached number one in the UK charts in 2014, followed shortly after by her debut album “Chapter One”. The 25-year-old artist now has more than a billion streams to her name. Last year she released the song “Hurricane” together with Ofenbach.

‘I’m so excited to finally share the news that my second album “Everything I Didn’t Say” is coming in March! I know it’s been a long time coming but I wanted to take the time to really follow my heart and vision, to create something that fully represented me, who I am today and what I stand for. I am so ready to finally share this body of work! It’s all here… the good, the bad, the ugly! This record means absolutely everything to me.’

The highly anticipated second album, “Everything I Didn’t Say,” which Ella has now also announced, reflects a 16-track diary. One of those songs is “Let’s Go Home Together” – a collaboration with Tom Grennan, which has reached more than 130 million streams. In May and June, Ella will support The Script during the band’s tours in Ireland, the UK and Europe.

An accompanying music video – directed by Plum Stupple-Harris – has also been released today along with the single, in which the poignant lyrics accompany the story of a single mother who struggles with the challenges of everyday life.
