Sting Announces European dates of ‘STING 3.0’ World Tour
|Seventeen-time Grammy Award-winning artist Sting is set to embark on his ‘STING 3.0’ World Tour, presented by Cherrytree Music Company and Live Nation. Joined by virtuoso guitarist and long-time collaborator Dominic Miller and dynamic drummer Chris Maas (known for his work with Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers), Sting will perform electrifying hits and rarities from his timeless discography across various venues and festivals.
The ‘STING 3.0’ world tour, which commenced in Europe last summer and recently launched its North American leg in Detroit, promises an intimate yet powerful musical experience. This new tour marks a dynamic era for Sting, presenting selected songs from his extensive catalogue with the intensity and energy of a tight three-piece ensemble.
The tour is inspired by Sting’s new single ‘I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)’, mixed by four-time Grammy Award-winning mix engineer Robert Orton and released on September 5th via Cherrytree Music Company/Interscope Records.
Sting’s illustrious career spans his groundbreaking work as a solo artist and as the frontman and songwriter of the pioneering group The Police. Managed by MartÃn Kierszenbaum/Cherrytree Music Company, Sting has consistently pushed the boundaries of musical innovation throughout his unparalleled career.
A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Sting has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and received numerous accolades, including 17 Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe, four Oscar nominations, a Tony nomination, Billboard Magazine’s Century Award, and Kennedy Center Honors.
Beyond his musical achievements, Sting has supported human rights organizations such as the Rainforest Fund, Amnesty International, and Live Aid. In 1989, he and his wife, Trudie Styler, founded the Rainforest Fund to protect the world’s rainforests and the indigenous people living within them.
