Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Announce Land of Hope and Dreams Tour
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are hitting the road this spring for the Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour, starting March 31 in Minneapolis. The Boss recently released a new protest song, “Streets of Minneapolis,” condemning violence by federal immigration officers that claimed the lives of two people in the city. He also made a surprise appearance at a Tom Morello-led rally in Minneapolis last month.
‘We are living through dark and dangerous times, but do not despair — the cavalry is coming! Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will take the stage this spring from Minneapolis to California, Texas, and Washington, D.C. for the Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour,’ Springsteen wrote on social media. ‘We’ll be rocking your town in celebration and defense of America — American democracy, freedom, our Constitution, and the sacred American dream — all under threat from our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C. Everyone is welcome, no matter your beliefs, so join the United Free Republic of E Street Nation for an American spring of rock ’n’ rebellion! I’ll see you there.’
The 20-date tour will hit arenas across the country, concluding May 27 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. These are Springsteen and the E Street Band’s first North American shows since 2024.
“Streets of Minneapolis”
In his most pointed critique of the Trump administration to date, “Streets of Minneapolis” condemns the “federal thugs” responsible for the deaths of protesters Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Springsteen pledges, ‘we’ll remember the names of those who died on the streets of Minneapolis.’ The 76-year-old rock legend sings: ‘Citizens stood for justice / Their voices ringing through the night / And there were bloody footprints / Where mercy should have stood / And two dead left to die on snow-filled streets / Alex Pretti and Renee Good.’
