Paul Simon Comes to Europe with the “A Quiet Celebration Tour”
Legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon continues his “A Quiet Celebration Tour,” bringing this intimate concert series to Europe in the spring of 2026. The shows combine performances of his Grammy-nominated album Seven Psalms with a celebration of his long career and timeless classics, offering audiences a unique opportunity to experience both new material and beloved songs in an intimate setting.

Audiences can look forward to evenings where Paul Simon performs both the cohesive work Seven Psalms and a selection of his classic hits, all carefully rearranged for this tour. Seven Psalms, released in 2023, is a 33-minute continuous piece recorded exclusively with acoustic instruments and performed primarily by Simon himself. The album has been praised for its complexity and depth, and live performances allow listeners to experience the nuances of each song in an intimate acoustic environment.
Since his early days as half of Simon & Garfunkel, Paul Simon has been one of the most influential figures in modern music. His songs have crossed generations and genres, from folk and rock to world music and pop, always emphasising strong melodies and poetic lyrics. Simon has received numerous awards, including several Grammys, and his work on Seven Psalms has cemented his reputation as an artist capable of renewing his expression while retaining the essence of what makes his music iconic.
The tour features an experienced backing band including Mark Stewart on guitar, Bakithi Kumalo on bass, Steve Gadd on drums, Andy Snitzer on saxophone, Jamey Haddad on percussion, Mick Rossi on piano and keys, Gyan Riley on guitar, Nancy Stagnitta on flute, Caleb Burhans on viola, and Eugene Friesen on cello. This ensemble ensures a rich and dynamic sound, with each instrument contributing to highlighting both new and classic songs.
The tour will give audiences across Europe the chance to experience Paul Simon live up close, showcasing musical craftsmanship, lyrical depth, and intimate interpretations in perfect balance, as only Paul Simon can deliver.
