From Chaos to Party: Electric Callboy Conquers Copenhagen

On Saturday, November 1st, Royal Arena transformed into an epicentre of modern metal and electronic chaos. With Electric Callboy’s Tanzneid Tour as the main attraction, Copenhagen metal fans experienced an evening filled with raw energy, emotions, and uncompromising party vibes. Three bands – each with their own unique approach to the genre – delivered a show that proved metal in 2025 is more diverse, playful, and captivating than ever before. From Wargasm’s explosive opening through Bury Tomorrow’s emotionally charged heavy sound to Electric Callboy’s festival of fireworks, it became a concert experience that left the audience both exhausted and euphoric.

Wargasm – Raw Energy and Electric Chaos
Wargasm presents itself as the modern version of The Prodigy – an explosive blend of punk, metal, and electronic chaos, where attitude and energy go hand in hand. From the first beat, the intensity was at boiling point, and it quickly became clear that the band didn’t come to hold back – this was a party like no other.

The two vocalists filled the stage. The female vocalist shone as a true hardcore diva – confident, wild, and with a look that could set fire to an entire audience. Her charisma and presence were magnetic. The male vocalist took the lead when it came to warming up the crowd – he got the hall boiling and everyone shouting along, as if we’d known the band for years.

The sound was sharp, brutal, and thoroughly intense. There wasn’t a single moment of stillness, only a constant bombardment of energy, distortion, and bass that could be felt in your stomach. It was our first time experiencing Wargasm live – but definitely not the last. An impressive, uncompromising show where both band and audience gave everything they had.

Bury Tomorrow – Heavy Love Wrapped in Metal
Bury Tomorrow are boys with love on their minds – and heavy metal in their blood. Their concert was proof that brutality and empathy can easily go hand in hand. The music was massive, melodic, and uncompromising, delivered with precision and edge from start to finish.

The show itself wasn’t the most entertaining visually – there were no big gimmicks or stage tricks. Instead, the band let the music speak for itself. The focus was on pure expression, on the interplay, and on delivering their message without noise and unnecessary effects.

A brief but sincere moment from the vocalist about love and understanding set the tone for the evening. For a few minutes, the noise was replaced by honesty and humanity – a moment that reminded us that metal isn’t just about anger, but also about community and respect.

Bury Tomorrow showed that you can play heavy and still have heart. A solid, down-to-earth, and musically strong show where emotions were allowed to stand side by side with hard-hitting riffs. A concert that left you both uplifted and thoughtful.

Electric Callboy – A Festive Explosion in Royal Arena
The Tanzneid Tour with Electric Callboy really kicked off the autumn when it hit Royal Arena on Saturday, November 1st. Outside, the rain poured down, but inside, the grey evening was quickly transformed into a fireworks display of lights, sound, and laughter. It became one of the most captivating concerts Copenhagen has seen in a long time.

We were invited to a party – and party there was! Even before the show started, the hall vibrated with excitement. The audience sang, danced, and shouted for Nico, Kevin, and the rest of the boys waiting in the wings. When the smoke rolled across the stage and the beat hit, there they stood – ready to kick down the door with the opening number “Tanzneid”. The energy exploded, and shortly after, they sent a solid nod to the 2000s with a cover of Sum 41’s “Still Waiting”.

From there, the pace was set. Nico and Kevin fired it up with an infectious energy that almost defied the laws of physics – how they avoid heatstroke in those costumes remains a mystery. The stage show was massive: lights, smoke, confetti, humour, and attitude in a perfect mix. Nothing was spared – neither energy, sound, nor visual effects.

When “HYPA HYPA” hit as the fourth song, the entire arena exploded. Even the seated guests stood up and danced as if they were on a packed dance floor. Since their genre shift in 2020, Electric Callboy has found their very own niche – a playful mix of metal, electronic pop, and pure party atmosphere. The self-irony is impossible to overlook, and it’s served with both charm and confidence. They’ve slipped into the metal world through the side door but have long since created a solid, colourful place right in the centre – as the metal world’s undisputed party kings.
