Reeperbahn Festival Expands Lineup with 37 New Artists

The Reeperbahn Festival has unveiled 37 additional performers for its milestone 20th edition, bringing the total roster to over 240 acts. The Hamburg-based festival opens in just nine weeks, with daily schedules now available on the official website.

Among the latest confirmations are four standout artists representing diverse musical territories. British singer-songwriter Greentea Peng has emerged as a defining voice in contemporary soul since her 2021 breakthrough. Her debut “Man Made” captured attention across major outlets including BBC and Guardian, while recent single “Downers” solidified her reputation. This year’s follow-up, “Tell Dem It’s Sunny” reinforces her position at the forefront of the genre’s evolution.

UK artist Killowen transforms everyday British experiences into compelling musical narratives through his distinctive fusion of soul, dub, spoken word, and UK Garage elements. His 2024 EP “Six Missed Calls” and commanding live performances have elevated him from underground favorite to recognized talent on the festival circuit.

California’s Beauty School Dropout arrives with heavyweight endorsements from punk royalty Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 and Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz. The trio’s aggressive guitar work and infectious hooks on albums “We Made Plans & God Laughed” and “READY TO EAT” have garnered international recognition. Hamburg audiences will preview material from their upcoming third release.

German rapper moé channels post-pandemic generational anxiety through his introspective approach, weaving existential themes into atmospheric synth landscapes. His work captures the duality of contemporary youth experience, balancing hope against disillusionment.
