Def Leppard, Brad Paisley & Train To Headline SWFL Charity Music Festival
|The Charity Pros are starting 2024 with a celebration of community heroes at the Harvest Nights Charity Music Festival. From January 10 to 12, the John Jimmie Rodeo Grounds in Immokalee, Florida, will host a star-studded lineup, including Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Def Leppard, country superstar Brad Paisley, and Grammy-winning band Train. This three-day event, near the Seminole Casino, is presented by the Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance.
The Charity Pros, a Ft. Myers-based nonprofit known for championing children’s causes and honouring local heroes, are continuing their tradition of impactful events. “We wanted to start the year off right,” said Megan Maloney, co-founder and president of The Charity Pros. “It’s always an easy decision to honor our local heroes, so we invited thousands of first responders, teachers, and veterans to join us for the biggest event of the year.”
The organization has a history of meaningful tributes, including the “Hurricane Heroes” concert with Matchbox Twenty, which honoured unsung heroes on the anniversary of Hurricane Ian, and a 2021 event at Hertz Arena featuring John Fogerty and Foreigner to recognize first responders lost to COVID-19.
This year’s lineup is equally diverse and impressive. In addition to the headliners, performances include Tyler Hubbard (formerly of Florida Georgia Line), Don Felder (formerly of the Eagles), rock legends Tesla, country star Terri Clark, rising rocker Tim Montana, Alana Springsteen, American Idol finalists Will Mosely, Jack Blocker, and Casey Bishop with Rock Republic, as well as local favourites the Ben Allen Band and Maiden Cane.
“We love to bring bands, their fans, and the community together for a cause,” Maloney added. The Charity Pros have already donated 1,000 tickets to Vet Tix, which were claimed in just 15 minutes. Attendees can also participate in raffles featuring signed guitars, vacations, and other prizes, with proceeds benefiting local organizations like the Immokalee Foundation, Guadalupe Center, Cancer Alliance Network, Collier Community Foundation, and Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance.
Each day of the festival highlights a different group of heroes. Train will headline “First Responder Friday,” honouring law enforcement, firefighters, and medical workers. Saturday is dedicated to “Teacher Appreciation” with Def Leppard, while Brad Paisley closes the weekend on Sunday, paying tribute to military members and veterans.
The festival also promises an immersive experience beyond the music. A Festival Village will feature arts and crafts booths, retail vendors, local businesses, and a variety of food trucks. On-site camping options are available for RVs and trailers, and ticket packages include VIP upgrades, Party Pit access, reserved seating, and lawn options.
With the largest mobile stage in North America and an unmatched production in Southwest Florida, the Harvest Nights Charity Music Festival is set to be an unforgettable event honouring those who serve their communities.
