Steven Wilson Announces ‘The Overview Tour’ for Spring 2025

Steven Wilson has announced his first solo shows in seven years, set to take place in the spring of 2025. With “The Overview Tour,” he will visit eleven European countries and the United Kingdom, celebrating his upcoming album “The Overview,” which is set for release in early 2025. This marks his first solo tour with a full band since 2018, which was in support of his last album “To The Bone,” released in 2017.

Steven Wilson, immensely successful and yet always uncompromising, has been one of Britain’s most consistently creative artists over the past thirty years. A musician, producer, and band frontman, Wilson has blurred the lines between complex rock music and visionary electronic sound. His seventh solo album, “The Harmony Codex,” was released in 2023 following the hugely successful and unexpected reunion world tour with Porcupine Tree, the band Wilson led from the mid-90s until their hiatus in 2010. His last three albums (“To The Bone” “The Future Bites,” and “The Harmony Codex”) all reached the Top 5 in the UK album charts.

Wilson’s Excitement for the Upcoming Tour

Steven Wilson expressed his enthusiasm, saying, ‘I am very excited to announce a Steven Wilson tour for 2025, my first in seven years. “The Overview Tour” will be an audiovisual experience based on a forthcoming new release of the same name: an album with a space theme and only two very long pieces. I will also be playing music from “The Harmony Codex” for the first time, as well as songs from all my previous records. I am incredibly excited to perform again with my inspiring solo band, and we have a lot of lost time to make up for. I look forward to seeing you at what will be an epic evening!’

In May and June, 2025, Steven Wilson will perform all over Europe. Following his most recent performances with his band Porcupine Tree, this will be his first solo tour since 2018.
