47 New Acts Added to Reeperbahn Festival
Forty-seven newly confirmed artists have joined the Reeperbahn Festival live programme, bringing the total number of confirmed acts to 196 while expanding the festival’s stylistic diversity. This latest announcement spans progressive indie rock to pop noir, political German rap, bedroom pop with club potential, and graceful French pop.
The Arts & Word programme reflects this year’s festival theme, “Imagine Togetherness,” through readings, talks and other artistic formats.

British quartet Everything Everything demonstrates how bands can navigate between dance music, indie and art rock while maintaining their distinctive sound, as evidenced on albums like “Get To Heaven” and “Mountainhead”.
German act Die Heiterkeit, led by songwriter and vocalist Stella Sommer, has crafted a sophisticated pop-noir sound across albums including “Herz aus Gold”, “Pop & Tod I+II” and their latest work ‘Schwarze Magie’. Each release adds new dimensions to their grand artistic vision.
For ten years, German rap trio Waving The Guns has reinvented political hip-hop through boom-bap beats, impressive samples and articulate social commentary. At Reeperbahn Festival, they will present material from their new album ‘Tussen Wand en Tapete’.
British songwriter Chloe Slater bridges seemingly incompatible elements in her music. Her stylistically adventurous songs blend bedroom pop, indie rock and post-punk with socio-political lyrics, yet still generate millions of streams across platforms.
French artist Vendredi sur Mer, the project of Charlie Mignot, creates poetry-driven electropop equally suited for dancing, dreaming or contemplation. Her music explores themes of love, memory, female identity and self-assertion.
